Application principles and practical significance of wind speed and direction sensors

The wind flow rate is converted into a voltage signal through the sensor, and its value is in a functional relationship with the incoming wind speed. Then the A/D conversion chip and the operational amplifier convert the two analog signals into digital signals, and the microcontroller is used to convert the wind speed into a voltage signal. The transmitter of the main control unit reads in and processes it. Then, the microcontroller sends the processed data packets to the receiver through the wireless module. The receiver uses the wireless module to receive. The receiver analyzes the collected data and records, saves and displays it. .

Wind speed and direction sensors support the development of new energy wind power technology. Wind speed and direction are also related to the layout of the building and the natural ventilation effect. Normal wind is very useful for agricultural production, so measuring wind speed and direction will also be of great help to agriculture. Wind sometimes causes disasters to human life and production, and even threatens human life.

At present, the price of wind speed and direction sensors is still very expensive, ranging from several thousand to tens of thousands. The price of some integrated weather stations combined with wind speed and direction sensors reaches several million. Therefore, it is urgent to develop cheap wind speed and direction sensors that are suitable for the public. Only when the price becomes cheaper can we help customers open up and utilize wind energy, and in this way can we better solve the energy gap.

How to use digital anemometer
1. Zero adjustment: Zero adjustment before each use: retract the probe lever. Turn on the power switch. After 1 minute of preheating, the instrument becomes stable and displays 0.00. If it is not at 0, adjust the zero-adjustment potentiometer on the front panel of the instrument until it displays 0.00.

2. Measurement: Pull the probe lever to expose the probe and take readings. Turn off the power switch at any time after use and return the probe rod back to the casing.

3. Hold: Press the hold button, and the wind speed value will be displayed stably on the meter head.

At the same time, when the battery voltage is lower than the working voltage, "LOBAT" appears in the upper left corner of the display, prompting that charging is required, and it can be charged continuously for 8 to 16 hours.
