Basic functions of DC regulated power supply
The DC regulated power supply generally has multiple outputs: for example, a fixed output of 5V and 2A is provided; two (A and B) adjustable outputs are provided with 0-24V and 0-1A. Adjustable output generally has two working modes: voltage regulation and current regulation. These two work modes are automatically converted with the change of the load, and the LED on the front panel of the instrument displays the CV and CC modes. Generally, the green light indicates CV ( Voltage regulation), the red light indicates CC (steady current).
Some regulated power supplies also provide series A and B series work and master-slave tracking work at the same time. If path A is the master path and path B is the slave path, when tracking the working mode, the output voltage of the slave path changes with the master path, which is more suitable for occasions that require a symmetrical bipolar power supply. If the two circuits A and B work in series, they can output 0~48V, 0~1A DC power; in the series tracking mode, they can output 0~±24V, 0~1A DC power.
