Maintenance procedure of high-power DC stabilized power supply

The use of high-power DC regulated power supply is very simple. When using it, you should pay attention to the polarity of the required DC voltage. The main contents of the test are: the adjustment range of the output voltage, the stability level, the ripple voltage and the overcurrent protection.

Maintenance procedure of high-power DC stabilized power supply

1. Measure the rectified output voltage

There are one or more sets of rectified output voltages in various DC regulated power supplies. If one of these rectified output voltages is abnormal, the regulated power supply will have various failures. Therefore, when overhauling, it is necessary to first measure whether the relevant rectified output voltage is normal.

2. Check the operating point of the circuit

If the rectified voltage output and related electronic devices are normal, the operating point of the circuit should be further checked. For a transistor, there must be a certain working voltage between its collector and emitter, and the polarity of the bias voltage between the base and the emitter should meet the requirements and ensure that it works in the amplification area.

3. Test electronics

If the rectified voltage output is normal, but the output voltage regulation is not normal, it is necessary to further test whether the performance of the adjusting tube, amplifier tube, etc. is good, and whether the capacitor is short-circuited or open-circuited. The high-power DC stabilized power supply can be restored to normal.

4. Analyze the circuit principle

If it is found that the operating point voltage of a transistor is abnormal, there are two possibilities: one is that the transistor is damaged; the other is that other components in the circuit are damaged. At this time, it is necessary to carefully analyze the cause of the problem according to the circuit schematic diagram, and further identify the damaged and changed components.

5. Preliminary inspection of the surface

All kinds of high-power DC stabilized power supplies are generally equipped with overload or short-circuit protection fuses and input and output terminals. You should first check whether the fuses are blown or loose, whether the terminals are loose or short-circuited to ground, and the voltage indication Whether the needle of the watch is blocked. Then open the case cover to check whether the power transformer has burnt smell or mold, and whether the resistance and capacitor are burnt, moldy, leaking, bursting and other obvious damages.
