Benefits and Advantages of Fixed Laser Infrared Thermometers

Distance ratio to target (light spot)
The optical system of an infrared sensor collects energy from circular measurement points and converges it onto a detector. The optical resolution is determined by the ratio of the distance from the device to the object to the size of the measured light point (D: S ratio). The larger the ratio, the better the resolution of the device, which can measure smaller light spots from farther distances. The new feature of infrared optics is the addition of near focus characteristics, providing accurate measurement of small target areas without unwanted background temperatures.

Field of view of laser infrared thermometer
Ensure that the target is larger than the size of the light spot being measured by the device. The smaller the goal, the closer you should be. When accuracy is particularly important, ensure that the target is at least twice the size of the light spot.

Environmental conditions for laser infrared thermometer
Pay attention to the environmental conditions in the work area. Steam, dust, smoke, etc. can block the lens of the equipment, thereby hindering measurement. Before installation, other conditions such as noise, electromagnetic fields, or vibrations should also be considered. Protective casing, air purification, and air or water cooling can protect the sensor to ensure accurate measurement.

Environmental temperature (ambient temperature)
If the thermometer is exposed to a sudden environment with a temperature difference greater than 20 ℃, please maintain it for at least 20 minutes to adapt to the new ambient temperature. The fixed sensor of JTCIN high-temperature thermometer has been optimized for performance in special environmental temperature ranges.

Emissivity of laser infrared thermometer
Emissivity is a measure of an object's ability to radiate infrared energy. The energy of radiation indicates the temperature of an object. The range of emissivity values is from 0 (smooth mirror surface) to 1.0 (black body). Understand the emissivity and emissivity values of various materials.
