Biological microscope self-calibration method
1. Purpose
This method specifies the self-calibration method of the biological microscope, so that the self-calibration of the biological microscope can be carried out correctly according to the specified method.
2 Scope of application
This method is suitable for the self-calibration of biological microscopes in use and after maintenance in our center.
3 Responsibilities
3.1 The person in charge of the instrument strictly follows this method, calibrates on schedule, makes records, and issues a calibration report.
3.2 The head of the department checks the calibration results.
3.3 The technical director issues the calibration report.
3.4 A copy of the calibration report is kept on file by the Device Department.

5 Overview
6 Technical Requirements
6.1 Appearance of the instrument
The eyepiece, objective lens, condenser and other components are not damaged.
The moving and rotating parts of the microscope should feel comfortable, not too tight or too loose.
6.2 Optical system imaging quality
Turn on the light source, narrow the aperture, and check the degree of coincidence of its center with the center of the condenser, objective and eyepiece apertures.
Observe the star point plate from low magnification to high magnification, and check the spherical aberration, chromatic aberration, coma and astigmatism of the objective lens.
6.3 Change the magnification of the objective lens
Rotate the revolving objective lens to change the magnification of the objective lens, and observe the focal length of the center of the image plane.
6.4 Scale and lettering
All scales and inscriptions on the microscope must be obvious and clear.
6.5 Calibration cycle
Biological microscopes have a one-year calibration cycle.
7 Environmental Conditions for Calibration
Temperature: 25+2℃, Humidity: 45%+2%
8 Main measuring equipment used for calibration
Star point plate, measuring range: objective lens (0-1000) X, maximum allowable error: 0.1%.
9 Calibration Results
Calibrate according to this method and issue a report, and judge according to the technical indicators provided by the instrument manual
