Briefly describe the basic operation method of measuring resistance with multimeter.

1. First, connect the probe. The choice of multimeter can be a pointer or several bai displays. Insert the red probe into the VΩ file and the black probe into the COM terminal to ensure the normal operation of the multimeter.

2. When rotating the multimeter gear, you should use the resistance gear to measure the resistance. If you are not sure about the resistance value, you should first set the range switch to the maximum value, and then switch from the large range to the small range gear, so that the instrument pointer indicates more than half of the full scale. After selecting the appropriate magnification file, touch the two probes to make the pointer point at zero. If the pointer deviates from zero, adjust the "zero adjustment" knob to make the pointer zero to ensure the accuracy of the measurement result.

3. Connect the two sections of the resistor, and the stylus is casually connected. There is no positive or negative difference. Be sure to make good contact.

4. Read the data displayed by the multimeter. If there is no data in the multimeter, it may be that the resistor is broken. Of course, there is another possibility that the range is not enough, so change the range.

5, increase the range, if there has been no data, it can only show that the resistor is broken. If there is data output data, pay attention to add the gear unit.

Basic principle of multimeter:

A sensitive magnetoelectric DC ammeter (micro-ammeter) is used as the meter head. When a small current passes through the meter, there will be a current indication. But the meter can't pass large current, so it is necessary to shunt or step down some resistors in parallel and series on the meter to measure the current, voltage and resistance in the circuit.

Matters needing attention in using multimeter:

1. Before using the multimeter, it should be "mechanically zeroed", that is, when there is no electricity to be measured, make the pointer of the multimeter point to the position of zero voltage or zero current.

2. In the process of using the multimeter, you can't touch the metal part of the stylus with your hands, which can ensure the accuracy of measurement on the one hand and personal safety on the other.

3, when measuring a certain amount of electricity, can't shift gears at the same time, especially when measuring high voltage or large current, more attention should be paid. Otherwise, the multimeter will be destroyed. If you need to shift gears, you should disconnect the probe first and then measure after shifting gears.

4. When using the multimeter, it must be placed horizontally to avoid errors. At the same time, we should also pay attention to avoid the influence of external magnetic field on multimeter.

5. After using the multimeter, put the change-over switch in the maximum range of AC voltage. If it is not used for a long time, the battery inside the multimeter should also be taken out to prevent the battery from corroding other devices in the meter.

pay close attention

1. If the 2113 electronic multimeter is used, first set the 4102 position to ohm for 5261.

2. Before use, make sure that the pointer of 1653 is at 0Ω, and put the front ends of the red pen and the black pen together, which will cause a short circuit. If the pointer has not reached 0Ω, you can turn the zero knob Q to make the pointer point at 0 Ω.

3. Insert the red stylus into the "VΩ" hole and the black stylus into the "COM" hole, and then select the gear of the resistance file according to the resistance of the circuit to be tested.

4. To measure the resistance value of the circuit, first set the multimeter to the maximum resistance gear. If the digital display is small and inaccurate during measurement, adjust the gear.

5, the best reading is only two digits after the decimal point, and the data read by adjusting to this gear is the most accurate.
