Cause Analysis of Bad Soldering Iron

1. Too much solder is used to form a large accumulation, or too little is used to form a firm

2. Cold welding: The temperature of the soldering iron is too low during welding, the solder is not completely melted, the surface of the solder is not smooth, or there are small cracks

3. Soldering points are connected together because too much tin is used. Such soldering points will cause short circuit of components. Pay special attention to smaller parts or smaller circuit boards

4. Spikes are easy to form on the surface of solder joints. The reason is that the temperature is too low, or there is less flux, or the angle of the soldering iron tip is not right when it leaves the solder joint.
