Clamp meter use and attention to matters
Clamp ammeter is divided into high and low voltage two kinds, used in the case of not dismantling the line directly measure the current in the line. Its use is as follows:
1, the use of high-voltage clamp meter should pay attention to the voltage level of the clamp ammeter, is strictly prohibited to use low-voltage clamp meter to measure the current of high-voltage circuit. Measurement with a high-voltage clamp meter, should be operated by two people, non-duty staff measurement should also fill out the second work ticket, measurement should wear insulated gloves, stand on insulating mats, shall not touch other equipment to prevent short-circuit or grounding.
2, observation table time, pay special attention to keep the head and the charged sector of the safety of the interval between any part of the human body and the charged body shall not be less than the entire length of the clamp meter.
3, in the high-voltage circuit measurement, prohibit the use of wires from the clamp-on ammeter another meter measurement. Measurement of high-voltage cable current of each phase, the cable head line interval should be more than 300mm, and good insulation, to be thought that the measurement is convenient, before proceeding.
4, measuring low voltage fusible fuse or horizontally arranged low voltage bus current, should be measured before the phase fusible fuse or bus with insulating materials to protect the isolation, so as not to cause a short circuit between phases.
5, when the cable has a phase grounded, it is strictly prohibited to measure. Prevent the occurrence of low insulation levels due to the cable head to ground breakdown explosion and endanger personal safety.
6, clamp ammeter measurement after the end of the switch pulled to the maximum range gear, so as not to accidentally overcurrent the next use; and should be retained in a dry room!
