Digital clamp meter measurement gear selection method
1, according to the need, select A ~ (AC) or A - (DC) gear.
2, press the trigger so that the clamp meter clamp into the current to be measured wire, and keep it in the middle of the clamp position.
3, when the measured current is very small, its reading is not obvious, can be measured wire around a few turns, the number of turns to the jaws of the centre of the number of turns shall prevail, then the reading = measured value / number of turns.
4, when measuring, should make the measured wire in the centre of the jaws, and make the jaws close tightly to reduce the error.
Attention
(1) The voltage of the measured line should be lower than the rated voltage of the clamp meter.
(2) When measuring the current of high-voltage lines, wear insulated gloves, insulated shoes, and stand on insulated mats.
(3) The jaws should be closed tightly and not be charged to change the range.
(4) The maximum current measurement of UT216D should not exceed 600A.
(5) For manual range clamp meter, if you do not know the range of current to be measured, need to be placed in the maximum range and gradually down. 2.
2. digital clamp meter voltage measurement
1, the black pen into the "COM" hole, the red pen into the "VΩ" hole.
2, dial switch to "V" file, the clamp meter default into the AC voltage measurement. Press SELECT key to switch to DC voltage measurement.
3, the red and black pens placed in the circuit to be measured at both ends, the clamp meter will automatically select the appropriate range.
Attention
(1) The DC voltage measurement range cannot exceed 1000V, and the AC voltage measurement range cannot exceed 750V.
(2) For manual range clamp meter, if you don't know the range of voltage to be measured, you need to put it in the maximum range and gradually decline.
3. Digital Clamp Meter - Measurement of resistance, capacitance, diode, on/off beeping
1, the black pen into the "COM" hole, red pen into the "VΩ" hole.
2, dial switch to "Ω" file, the clamp table default resistance measurement. Press SELECT key to switch to DC capacitance, diode, on-off measurement.
3, the red and black pens placed on the two ends of the object to be measured, the clamp meter will automatically select the appropriate range.
