Common faults and solutions of metal detectors
1. The detector trembles, makes irregular beeping sounds, and becomes less sensitive
Causes of failure: indoor use, oxygen near wires; two detectors are used in adjacent areas at the same time; electromagnetic interference exists in the environment.
Solution: Keep a distance of at least 6 meters between the two detectors; lower the sensitivity until the unstable signal disappears.
2. The volume of the speaker is low
Cause of failure: The battery is low; the wrong battery is used.
Solution: Replace the battery, and note that the metal detection equipment can only use alkaline batteries.
3. The display of the target ID is not fixed, and there are various prompt sounds
Cause of failure: multiple targets detected; soil mineralization is high; the sensitivity of the metal detector is adjusted too high.
Solution: move the search coil at different angles; use the ground clearing function (if possible); turn down the sensitivity.
4. Unable to open, no sound
Cause of failure: The battery is exhausted; the wires are not in good contact.
Solution: replace the battery; check the wires at the connection.
5. The metal detector will alarm or vibrate continuously after starting for 1-2 seconds
Cause of failure: too high sensitivity; insufficient power.
Solution: Turn down the sensitivity until there is no alarm when the alarm is turned on; replace the battery or use it after charging.
6. False alarm
