Core tips for the operation of a gas detector

Precautions:
1. For better use of the instrument, please read the instructions carefully before use.

2. This instrument is reasonable to grasp the preheating time before testing. For example, if the instrument has not been used for more than 2 hours before, it is recommended to warm up time for 15 minutes if you have high requirements for the result.

3. If the battery is less than 40%, it is recommended to recharge it in case of emergency.

4. This instrument is equipped with Teflon sampling tube, if in the case of very dusty, it is recommended to use the sampling tube with dust filter inserted into the air inlet (left nozzle), otherwise it is not recommended to use the sampling tube with filter; the air outlet hole can be decided according to the situation whether to connect to the air tube.

5. After detecting toxic and hazardous gases, be sure to enter the detection mode for another gas detection in a clean environment until the concentration value of each toxic and hazardous gas returns to 0 ppm and lasts for more than 1 minute before switching off and putting into the instrument case.

6. The ideal working temperature of most sensors is 20 degrees Celsius, so when used in a low-temperature environment, the sensor response will be slower than usual, especially odour and so on semiconductor-type sensors, they need a long time to warm up, and need to maintain a certain temperature in order to carry out accurate detection.

7. Environments with high humidity (>65% RH) usually result in large sensor signals.

Before testing the target environment, you should verify that the instrument is working properly. The following steps can be performed in a clean environment:
1 Switch on the instrument in clean air and enter the detection mode.

2 The detector will warm up in clean air according to the warm-up time required for each sensor. The time required for warm-up will be displayed in the lower right corner of the screen as a ***: xxx in warm-up; in seconds. The data in warm-up is not accurate.

3 If in clean air, all detection items cannot return to zero, it is recommended to wait a few more minutes until the sensor returns to zero before entering the target environment for detection.

4 If in clean air, more than 10 ~ 15 minutes, also can not return to zero, should consider whether this environment is really clean. This is especially true in industrial areas, where the atmosphere is also very bad. The way to exclude this problem is to move the instrument away from the polluted area, and then switch on the instrument to test it again to see if it returns to zero point, if the problem persists, please contact us.
