The laser range finder is a device that precisely calculates the target's distance using a particular modulated laser parameter. When in use, the pulsed laser rangefinder sends a beam or a series of short-duration pulsed laser beams toward the target, and the photoelectric element picks up the laser beam reflected by the object. The distance from the meter to the target is calculated by the timer by timing the launch and receipt of the laser beam.

 

Handheld and telescopic laser rangefinders are the two categories of laser rangefinders.

 

1. Handheld laser rangefinder: The accuracy is around 2 millimeters, and the measuring distance is typically within 200 meters. Currently, this is the laser rangefinder that is utilized the most. Functionally, it can typically determine the volume of the item being measured in addition to calculating the distance.


Cloud service 2. Laser rangefinder: Share real-time measurement data with distant construction partners by transmitting laser rangefinder measurement data over Bluetooth to mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. The data can also be delivered to a cloud server via wifi networking.

 

3. Laser rangefinder in the form of a telescope: the measurement range is considerable. The standard measurement range is about between 3.5 and 2000 meters. Additionally, there are ranging telescopes with a top range of around 10 kilometers. The range is less than 3.5 meters since the ranging telescope needs to be collimated. The area is blind. YAG lasers having a wavelength of 1.064 microns are typically used in laser telescopes larger than 2000 meters. The laser power is rather high in order to attain a wider measurement range. Users are urged to be cautious when using lasers. Outdoor medium- and long-distance measuring is the primary application area.
