Handling the electrolytic cell
Shake the electrolytic cell of the trace moisture tester gently for a few times, so that the water on the inner wall of the cell bottle is fully absorbed by the electrolytic solution, then put the electrolytic cell into the holder, turn on the stirring switch, adjust the stirring speed so that the liquid surface forms a small vortex; Insert the plug of the measuring electrode and the plug of the electrolytic electrode into the corresponding sockets of the main unit, and make good contact with them, and turn on the electrolytic switch. Note: In the state of over-iodination, the green lights of the measurement signal indicator and electrolysis signal indicator are all off, only one red light is on respectively, and the digital display does not count.
Adjusting the electrolyte balance
If the electrolytic cell is still in the state of deep over-iodine, use the 50ul micro-sampler to extract 10ul of distilled water each time, wipe the needle with filter paper, press the start button, and inject it into the electrolytic cell below the liquid level through the hole in the middle of the sampling plug for several times, and inject it at any time to observe the colour change of the electrolyte until the electrolyte becomes yellowish, the green light of the measurement signal lamp and the electrolysis signal lamp is indicated, and the counter starts to count. until the counter starts to count. (If fresh electrolyte is used and the cell bottle is dry, it is necessary to inject about 30~50ul of water). When the counting stops, then stop the stirring, pick up the electrolytic cell and shake it gently for a few times, so that the water on the inner wall of the cell bottle is absorbed again, and the end point alarm can be calibrated. (The electrolyte just replaced is sometimes not too stable, then you can inject about 2~3ul of distilled water again to make it count 2000~3000ug figures, so as to facilitate faster stability.)
Calibration of trace moisture tester
After the electrolyte is stable, 0.5ul micro-sampler to extract 0.3ul distilled water, wipe the needle with filter paper, press the start button, injected below the liquid level, the instrument starts counting, to reach the end point, showing 300 ± 30ug water, continuous calibration of 2~3 times, the count value are within the requirements of the range, indicating that the instrument is accurate. (Note: The error of the rapid moisture tester itself is not greater than ± 0.3%, but taking into account the micro-sampler has a capacity error of ± 5% and human error, so when calibrated with distilled water (100%), the allowable error is within ± 10%.)
