Do you know the method of reading microscope readings
Reading microscopes are used to measure small distances or small distance changes. Its structure is divided into mechanical part and optical part. It is a telephoto microscope, which is installed on a sliding table driven by a screw rod. This sliding table and the microscope can be installed in different directions. You can point to the front, move up and down, and move left and right; or point to the bottom and move left and right. The sliding table is mounted on a large base. (Figure 1-13) The range of the reading microscope is generally several centimeters, and the division value is 0.001 centimeters. The mechanical part of a common reading microscope is manufactured according to the principle of a screw micrometer, and there are 100 equal divisions on a scale disc linked with a threaded rod with a pitch of 1 mm. Therefore, it's
The division value is 0.001 cm. There is also a type that uses a measuring eyepiece with a 0.01 mm scale to measure small displacements.
Operating steps of the reading microscope:
1. Properly install the reading microscope and align it with the object to be measured;
2. Adjust the eyepiece of the microscope to clearly see the crosshair (or ruler);
3. Adjust the aggregation of the microscope or move the entire instrument to make the image of the object to be tested clear and eliminate parallax, that is, when the eyes move up and down, there is no relative movement between the crosshair and the image formed by the object to be measured;
4. First align the cross wire with point A (or a line) A on the object to be tested, and record the reading; turn the screw to point at another point B, and then record the reading. The difference between the two readings is the distance between A and B. distance. Note that the lead screw must only move in one direction during the two readings to avoid pitch differences.
