Do you know what criteria gas detectors must meet for inspection?
Gas detector inspection standard
1. Check the appearance and other items
We can check the appearance of the gas detector to see if there is a problem in the transportation or assembly process of the gas detector. We can check whether the appearance of the gas detector is flawed, cracked or damaged, and check whether the overall structure of the instrument is complete. And you should check the machine model, label, manufacturer name, delivery time and instructions of the gas detector to ensure that it is consistent with the manufacturer's information. In addition, you also need to check the explosion-proof mark, measurement license mark and instrument number of the instrument. Generally, you can ask the manufacturer to provide it before purchasing the instrument.
2. Power-on inspection
The gas detector needs to be connected to the power supply during operation. Generally, the instrument is powered by a built-in battery. Before using the instrument, you can turn on the switch to check whether the power-on state is normal. The gas detector can work by replacing the battery or equipped with a charger. The gas detector equipped with a charger needs to test whether its charger can be charged normally before use. When the instrument is powered on, you can check whether the display screen of the gas detector is normal.
3. Check whether the sound and light alarm function of the instrument is normal
Some gas detectors have the function of sound and light alarm. Since the battery is used for power supply, when the battery is in the undervoltage display state, the alarm signal sent by the instrument under normal power supply state should be clearly different.
