ETCR2000 clamp-on grounding resistance tester is started correctly
After pressing the POWER button of the clamp meter, the clamp meter is in the power-on self-test state. After "OLΩ" is displayed on the LCD screen, the self-test state ends. If the clamp meter fails to display "OLΩ", please press the handle of the clamp meter to open and close the jaw twice and restart the machine.
Therefore, during the period from when the POWER button is pressed to when the LCD screen displays "OLΩ" (the self-test time is about 1 second), the clamp meter cannot be clamped around any metal conductors, the clamp meter cannot be turned over, and the clamp meter cannot be pressed. The handle and jaw should make the clamp meter in a naturally closed static state. Otherwise, the self-test cannot be completed, which will have a great impact on the measurement error.

The clamp meter displays "OLΩ" when the power is turned on correctly, and the user can check it with a random test ring as shown in the right figure. The value displayed by the clamp meter should be consistent with the nominal value on the test ring (5.1Ω). It is normal for the displayed value to differ from the nominal value by one word. For example: when the nominal value of the test ring is 5.1Ω, it is normal to display 5.0Ω or 5.2Ω. Users can use it with confidence.
