Examples of Application and Application of Thermometers
1. Concrete processing industry
During the processing of concrete, temperature plays a crucial role in determining the setting time and the resulting soundness, especially for concrete. When reaching a certain processing temperature, the contact probe will be mechanically damaged quickly due to the corrosive effect of cement. The thermometer can directly accept the temperature of the mixing drum or the temperature at the concrete outlet. Due to the quality inspection requirements of ISO9000, the temperature must be recorded in file form along with other production parameters. When used in dirty industrial environments, it needs to be very sturdy, such as dustproof and waterproof measuring lenses. In order to protect the thermometer, appropriate accessories such as axial gap nozzles, optical lens protection covers, and insulation pipes are used.
2. Paper industry
In the refining of the paper industry, the paper rail will run between a heated metal roller and a precision press roller coated with a plastic layer. If the width of the paper is less than the width of the roller, the temperature at the edge of the precision press roller will be significantly higher than that in the middle. The temperature difference between the middle and the edge should not exceed the predetermined temperature, otherwise the plastic coating will be damaged.
In order to measure temperature, each rack can be equipped with three fixed thermometers, or a thermometer can be moved along the length of the roller on the sight device. Due to local strong steam, a waterproof thermometer and a nozzle with axial clearance are needed for free blowing of the window. As temperature processing requires an SPS machine, general instruments with emissivity correction are sufficient.
3. Ceramic industry
In order to produce ceramic materials, it is necessary to know the temperature change process during the combustion process in order to achieve the same quality of products and avoid the generation of waste. At the same time, in order to save energy, it is necessary to control the temperature within a small value. Until now, thermometers have been used to measure the temperature, which obtains room temperature. Therefore, thermometers have the advantage of directly measuring the surface temperature of objects in a very short time, This enables accurate measurement and maintenance of combustion temperature.
4. Metallurgical industry
In the metallurgical industry, infrared temperature measurement is applied in various fields. For example, diagnosis of internal wall defects in various furnace bodies, diagnosis of cooling wall damage, control of process parameters, and so on. Infrared temperature measurement can accurately monitor the condition of equipment, improve its service life, save energy, reduce costs, and improve product quality
From this, it can be seen that traditional thermometers will be outdated products of the era, and they will disappear or be damaged over time, requiring constant replacement. However, thermometers do not have wear parts, so theoretically, their service life is infinite. Therefore, their more expensive investment costs can be recovered in a short period of time. The thermometer can be installed on the side or on the top, avoiding tilting alignment to prevent the thermometer from only grabbing the edge. The axial gap nozzle should be avoided from being placed on the lens of the thermometer. In higher ambient temperatures, an additional cooling device is required.
