Accurate measurement
Mettler Toledo provides thousands of electrodes for selection according to the viscosity, granularity and adsorption of the medium used, as well as the temperature and pressure of the medium, which is especially targeted, thus improving the accuracy of measurement. The InPro4800 series pH electrodes currently used in our factory are particularly suitable for measurement in harsh chemical environments. Accurate and reliable measurements can be provided in oxidizing media, strong acids and bases, high-pressure processes, and high-temperature conditions.
Long service life
The long service life of InPro4800 series pH electrodes is mainly manifested in their strong corrosion resistance to oxidizing media, solvents, and strong acids and alkalis; The long diffusion pathway and annular liquid junction (PTFE) effectively extend the electrode service life; The diffusion pathway with pressure compensation enables measurement in environments with high process pressure; Designed specifically for high temperatures; For measurements in media with high particle and fiber content, a flat glass film (with built-in grounding) is optional.
Small amount of daily maintenance
At present, some pH meters in the factory use Mettler Toledo's new M420 transmitter. This transmitter has a rich screen display (see Figure 2), and the status of the sensor is clear at a glance. For ISM intelligent electrodes, the "dynamic life indicator DLI" can also be displayed to dynamically calculate the time the electrode can still operate in this state based on the electrode load. In practical applications, we can selectively maintain electrodes based on their status. For electrodes with good usage conditions and low load, the maintenance cycle can be appropriately extended.
Easy to operate
Due to the fact that pH meters are online analytical instruments, according to the company's relevant management regulations for online analytical instruments, it is necessary to clean and calibrate each pH meter every month, which requires the selected pH meter to be simple, convenient, and safe to operate. The Mettler Toledo online pluggable pH meter just meets the above requirements. When online inspection is required, simply pull out the pull bolt on the sheath to smoothly pull out the electrode. Due to the action of the spring, the front end of the sheath automatically contracts and closes, blocking material leakage.
The pH transmitter of Mettler Toledo also has the function of manual activation and holding to keep the output signal at a set value during electrode replacement or calibration. This is very necessary for pH meters involved in automatic adjustment loop control to avoid loop fluctuations caused by pH meter operation.
The Mettler Toledo InPro4800 series pH electrode used by our factory does not need to be refilled with electrolyte. Moreover, the M420 transmitter adopts two-wire system, which completely solves the problem of too many connections, heavy workload and easy misconnection in the past.
Improvement of Mettler Toledo pH meter
When the pH meter is used for a long time, due to the polymerization of the medium, the electrode is difficult to be pulled out. A slight force can damage the end rubber handle. The factory has improved the end rubber handle to a white steel handle, which makes it easy to pull out the electrode when it is stuck by the polymer.
