Explain the two-colour infrared thermometer principle and operation.

Two-colour infrared thermometer is a kind of infrared thermometer. It measures the brightness of infrared radiation emitted by an object in two different spectral ranges and deduces the temperature of the object from the ratio of the brightness of these two radiations, which is called a two-colour pyrometer. In fact, dual-color pyrometer does not have the meaning of brightness and colour, and brightness pyrometer (optical pyrometer) compared to the two are different in principle. Here the meaning of "colour" should be infrared wavelength or spectrum, that is, "dual infrared spectral pyrometer".

Dual-colour infrared thermometers have advantages over single-colour infrared thermometers. In a small metal housing filled with a number of optical, optoelectronic and microelectronic devices, composed of non-contact infrared thermometer with single-colour and dual-colour temperature measurement function.

Dual-colour infrared thermometer Principle
Two-colour pyrometer is based on the following principle: in the selected two infrared wavelengths and a certain bandwidth, the ratio of their radiant energy with the change of temperature and change. The use of two groups of very narrow bandwidth of different monochrome filters, collect the radiant energy in two similar bands, they are converted into electrical signals and then compared, and ultimately the ratio to determine the temperature of the target to be measured, so it can basically eliminate the inconvenience of the target material emissivity adjustment, the use of two-colour pyrometer thermometer temperature measurement with high sensitivity, and the target of the real temperature deviation is small, subject to the test distance and the effect of the absorbers in between are also small, in the medium and high temperature range. Smaller, in the medium and high temperature range than the effect of the use of

Smaller, in the medium and high temperature range of the use of better results.
