Explanation of the working principle of a multifunctional electric soldering iron

 

Efficient and multifunctional electric soldering iron, which uses a dedicated integrated circuit as the control circuit, can continuously adjust the power of the soldering iron between O-50W, and also has multiple detection functions. This electric soldering iron integrates detection and welding functions, and has the characteristics of high efficiency, energy saving, and extended service life.


The working principle of an efficient and multifunctional electric soldering iron
The control circuit of this soldering iron is shown in the above figure. The IC (CS929) in the figure is an integrated circuit block developed specifically for this type of soldering iron, which contains circuits such as power control and signal detection. The names of each end pin of the integrated block are also shown in the figure. One end of the 220V AC power supply is input into the power control circuit inside the integrated circuit through pin ④ of the lC, and then sent to the soldering iron through pin ⑤ and an external potentiometer W. By changing the resistance value of W, the output power can be changed.


The ⑦ pin of the IC is the input terminal for the detection signal. When the switch K of the DC power supply 3V is connected, the detection signal input by the ⑦ pin is amplified by the internal circuit, and then output by the ② and ⑧ pins. Based on whether the output signal can drive the light-emitting diode to emit light, the quality of the capacitor, resistance, diode, transistor, and the on/off of the circuit circuit can be judged.


The advantages of efficient and multifunctional electric soldering irons
1. It has adjustable power and can replace three commercially available soldering irons: 20W, 30W, and 50W.


2. The power can be changed at any time according to the size of the solder and the ambient temperature, to prevent overheating of the soldering iron head, reduce the generation of oxide layer, thereby increasing the soldering ability of the soldering iron head, improving the quality and welding speed of the solder, and also playing a role in saving electricity and prolonging life.


3. In actual welding operations, it often involves pre checking the continuity of wires, the quality of components, the presence or absence of AC power, and so on. At present, there is no electric soldering iron with detection function. This soldering iron has multiple testing functions and is an integrated electrical tool for detection and welding.
