Fault analysis and maintenance of microscope
In the verification method, the standard reticle ruler is placed on the workbench of the hardness tester (or microscope), and the focal length is adjusted first when checking, so that the reticle of the standard reticle ruler can be clearly seen in the field of vision of the eyepiece or on the projection screen, and adjusted to coincide with the reticle in the eyepiece. Then, the reticle of the reading microscope is compared with the reticle of the standard reticle ruler, and the measurement should be carried out at least in five intervals of the whole measurement range, and each interval is compared for three times, and the average of the three comparison results is taken.

The calibration of the reading microscope is compared section by section according to the above method, and the error should be no more than 0.5%.
Cause analysis and maintenance of fault
1. The microscope is cloudy
Main reasons: unclean or moldy lenses.
Elimination method: When there is dust or dirt on the lens, it should be removed with a brush and feathers, and then carefully wiped along the circular track with lens paper or absorbent cotton dipped in a little anhydrous alcohol, but don't let the wiping liquid run off.
2. The indentation edge cannot be clearly seen in the mirror.
The main reason: some lenses are loose.
Elimination method: re-tighten the loose parts of the lens.
3. The reading microscope scale value does not coincide with the standard scale scale.
Main reasons: loose objective lens, loss of gasket at the joint between objective lens and lens barrel, and focal length change.
Troubleshooting: Fasten the objective lens. If the washer is lost, it should be adjusted repeatedly and fitted with a suitable washer until the scale error is small.
4. The reading microscope scale value is larger than the standard scale scale.
The main reason: the lens barrel grows, which may be that the lens barrel joint is loose.
Troubleshooting: Re-tighten the lens barrel connector.
The reading microscope should always be kept clean. If it is not used for a long time, it can be placed in a drying box to prevent mildew. Handle with care during use, so as not to damage the microscope and affect the measurement accuracy and service life.
