1. Classification according to the usage method of V-cone flowmeter


①Portable harmful gas detector
The instrument assembles sensors, measurement circuits, displays, alarms, rechargeable batteries, air pumps, etc. into a casing to form an integrated instrument that is small, lightweight, and easy to carry. With pump-type sampling, testing can be performed anytime and anywhere.


Pocket instrument is a type of portable instrument. It generally does diffusion sampling without an air pump, is powered by dry batteries, and is very small.


②Fixed harmful gas detector
This type of instrument is fixed on site, continuously and automatically detects corresponding harmful gases (steam), automatically alarms when harmful gases exceed limits, and some can also automatically control exhaust fans, etc. Fixed instruments are divided into two types: integrated and split.


Integrated fixed harmful gas detector: The same as the portable instrument, but the difference is that it is installed on site, powered by 220V AC, has continuous automatic detection and alarm, and is mostly diffusion sampling.


Split fixed harmful gas detector: the sensor and signal transmission circuit are assembled in an explosion-proof housing, commonly known as the probe, installed on site (dangerous places); the primary part includes data processing, secondary display, alarm control and power supply, assembled into a control Instrument, commonly known as secondary instrument, is installed in the control room (safe place). Probe diffusion sampling detection, secondary instrument displays alarm.


2. Classification according to the measured object of V-cone flowmeter and sensor principle


① Combustible gas detector (referred to as explosion detector, one instrument detects multiple combustible gases)

Catalytic combustion combustible gas detector, detects various combustible gases or vapors.

Infrared combustible gas detector, detects various combustible gases (depending on filtering technology).

Semiconductor combustible gas detector, detects a variety of combustible gases.

Thermal conductivity combustible gas detector is used to detect hydrogen and other gases whose thermal conductivity is significantly different from that of air.


② Toxic gas detector (referred to as poison detector, an instrument detects one type of toxic gas)
Electrochemical toxic gas detector, detects CO, H2S, NO, NO2, CL2, HCN and various toxic organic compounds.


Photoionization toxic gas detector, detects organic and inorganic compounds with ionization potential less than 11.7eV.


Infrared toxic gas detector, detects CO, CO2, etc.


Semiconductor toxic gas detector, V-cone flow meter detects CO, etc.
