For VOC gas detectors, what sampling methods are available?
The impact of industrial source VOC emissions on surrounding air pollution is direct and has obvious concentration pollution. Therefore, in order to prevent and control the standard emissions of VOC, it is necessary to use VOC detection instruments for monitoring and control, which can achieve significant improvement. Especially for key industries in industrial sources, the proportion of VOC generated by industry is relatively large, generally organized emissions with high concentrations, easy to collect and process, and mature treatment technologies. VOC detectors are the eyes of the VOC treatment industry, monitoring in real-time whether the concentration of VOC exceeds the standard. So what are the sampling methods for VOC detectors? At present, there are three sampling methods for VOC detectors, namely diffusion sampling, pump suction sampling, and pipeline sampling.
1. Diffusion type
The so-called diffusion type refers to the online continuous detection of VOC and the free diffusion type detection method;
Regarding diffusion sampling, detection is mainly carried out through the natural flow of gas. When the gas enters the gas chamber of the detector, the instrument automatically senses and provides real-time feedback on monitoring values to achieve the purpose of detection.
2. Pump suction type
The external air pump can be equipped with a flow type adapter for air inlet and outlet or an internal air pump to achieve a pump suction detection method (air pump optional);
That is to say, pump suction sampling is a gas sensor that adds an additional suction pump to the detector, relying on the suction force of the pump to quickly suck gas into the gas chamber, in order to achieve detection. (The vacuum pump samples imported vacuum pumps, providing stable and long-lasting suction airflow, and the vacuum pump has a long lifespan, low noise, and 5 adjustable speed ranges.)
3. Probe type
Rod sampling is achieved through pumping and equipped with a 1M long freely extendable metal rod for sampling, with a detection effect of "reaching the sky and the earth". Like the portable pump suction gas sampling system of Shenzhen Guoan, the vacuum pump of the probe type portable gas detector also has self-protection function.
