What is a combustible gas detector? What's the use of it

In our daily lives, there are actually many combustible gases, and the hazards of these combustible gases have become a major issue in public safety for many years. Therefore, in order to effectively avoid the harm caused by combustible gases to us, we need to use a gas detector, which is a combustible gas detector.

A combustible gas detector is a detector that responds to the concentration of a single or multiple combustible gases. There are two types of combustible gas detectors: catalytic and infrared optical. A catalytic combustible gas detector uses the resistance change of a refractory platinum wire heated to measure the concentration of combustible gases. When combustible gas enters the detector, it causes an oxidation reaction (flameless combustion) on the surface of the platinum wire. The heat generated increases the temperature of the platinum wire, and the electrical resistivity of the platinum wire changes.

Combustible gas detector is a combustible gas explosion-proof detector with display and digital signal output. Each gas detector is only designed for detecting one type of gas. Gas detectors are industrial combustible gas safety detection instruments used in industrial gas leakage detection and alarm devices. It can be fixedly installed in indoor and outdoor hazardous areas with gas leakage under test. Plays a role in on-site monitoring. If there is a combustible gas leak at the monitoring location, the gas detector will quickly transmit the concentration data of the leaked flammable and explosive gases to the gas alarm controller for data processing.
