Guidelines for using gas detectors
Precautions:
1. In order to use the instrument better, please read the instructions carefully before use.
2. The instrument should reasonably grasp the warm-up time before testing. For example: if it has not been used for more than 2 hours before, if you have high requirements for results, it is recommended to warm up for 15 minutes.
3. If the power is less than 40%, it is recommended to charge it in case of emergency.
4. This instrument is equipped with a Teflon sampling tube. If there is a lot of dust, it is recommended to use a sampling tube with a dust filter to insert it into the air inlet (air nozzle on the left), otherwise it is not recommended to use a sampling tube with a filter. Tube; the air outlet can decide whether to connect the trachea according to the situation.
5. After detecting toxic and harmful gases, be sure to enter the detection mode for a gas detection in a clean environment, until the concentration of each toxic and harmful gas returns to 0ppm, and last for more than 1 minute, then shut down and put it into the instrument box .
6. The ideal working temperature of most sensors is 20 degrees Celsius, so when used in a low temperature environment, the sensor response will be slower than usual, especially semiconductor type sensors such as odors, they need a long warm-up time and need to be kept temperature for accurate detection.
7. In an environment with high humidity (greater than 65%RH), the sensor signal will usually be too large.
Before testing the target environment, it should be verified whether the instrument can work normally, and the following steps can be carried out in a clean environment:
1 Turn on the device in clean air and enter the detection mode.
2 The clean air detector will preheat according to the preheating time required by each sensor, and a *** will be displayed on the lower right corner of the screen for the preheating time required: warming up xxx; the unit is second. Data in warmup is inaccurate.
3 If all the detection items cannot return to zero in clean air, it is recommended to wait for a few minutes until the sensor returns to zero before entering the target environment for detection.
4 If in clean air, it cannot return to zero after more than 10~15 minutes, it should be considered whether the environment is really clean. Especially in industrial areas, the atmospheric environment in industrial areas is also very bad. The way to eliminate this problem is to keep the instrument away from the polluted area, and then turn it on for testing to see if it returns to zero. If the problem persists, please contact us.
