Hands-on with digital multimeters

1. Voltage test

For example, to measure the voltage on a certain line, turn the multimeter to the corresponding voltage level, and then connect the two test leads to the two ends of the line under test, and the measured data can be seen through the display screen.

2. Cable continuity test

If the line is disconnected, test the resistance at both ends to be no resistance. If the two lines are connected together, the on-off test will make a beeping sound, and the resistance will be zero when tested with the resistance file.

3. Resistance measurement

Turn the multimeter to the resistance gear, measure the two ends of the resistance with two test leads, and read the value from the display.

4. Current measurement

Rotate the multimeter to the current gear and far away from the appropriate range, then insert the two test leads into the current hole and connect them in series to the circuit, and energize the circuit to measure the current in the circuit.

Through the above introduction to the use of digital multimeters, I believe that everyone has a good understanding of digital multimeters. With more use and practice, you will quickly master the specific usage of digital multimeters.
