High Frequency power supply repair and Installation Precautions

 

Precautions for maintenance and installation of high-frequency switching power supply: high-frequency power supply repair and installation precautions
High-frequency switching power supply (also known as switching rectifier SMR) works through the high frequency of MOSFET or IGBT, and the switching frequency is generally controlled in the range of 50-100kHz, achieving high efficiency and miniaturization.


I. Overhaul and Maintenance of High Frequency Switching Power Supply
During the use of the rectifier, users regularly clean and check according to the working environment of the machine. According to the following steps:
A before opening the chassis, the external power supply must be disconnected for 30 minutes.
B, after opening the chassis, clean the dust of each part, which can be wiped by dry cloth or brush or compressed air, but be careful that the air pressure is not too high to avoid damaging components.
C, check whether the power supply is normal and check whether the air switch is reliable.
D, check whether the fan is abnormal, with or without noise.
E, check whether there is any oxidation on the output copper bar, and clean it up in time.
F, check whether the screws and nuts are loose, etc.
Cold switching power supply, if there is water flowing out of the machine, check whether there is water leakage in the waterway and tighten the clamp spring. According to the water quality used, clean it regularly.


II. Precautions for installation of high-frequency switching power supply:
1, put the rectifier, and keep its stability, in order to ensure good ventilation rectifier, before and after the left and right within 0.5m don't have any objects. In addition, avoid the power supply working in an environment full of dust and corrosive gases, and stay away from heat sources and humid areas, with a relative humidity of 5%~70% and an ambient temperature of -25℃~40℃, so as to prolong the service life of the machine.
2. Check whether the machine shell is loose and whether the port is damaged during transportation, and confirm.


The three-phase air switch is in the off position.


3. Find out the power input line, connect the lead wires respectively, and insert and tighten the remote control line to the concave and convex parts of the socket.


4. There is a ""sign in the lower left corner of the shell behind the chassis. Please connect it to the ground to prevent static electricity.


5. Turn the power adjustment knob ⑤ counterclockwise to the end (minimum state).


6. Turn off the air switch. At this time, the fan starts to rotate, and the power indicator ① lights up. The fault light ④ will flash several times and then go out.


7. Turn the "work/standby" switch ② to "standby" and then to "work".


8. Turn the adjusting knob ⑤ clockwise. When the "voltage-stabilizing/current-stabilizing" switch is placed in the "voltage-stabilizing" position, the voltmeter reading will immediately increase to the required value, and the ammeter will give corresponding instructions according to the load; When the "voltage-stabilizing/current-stabilizing" switch is placed in the "current-stabilizing" position, the ammeter reading will increase to the required value with the load, and the voltmeter will give corresponding instructions according to the load. When there is no load, turn the adjusting knob clockwise, and the voltage will indicate * high value, and the ammeter will indicate zero.


9. When turning off the power supply, turn the adjusting knob counterclockwise to the end, turn the "work/standby" switch to the "standby" position, and turn off the air switch.


10. When the machine is working normally, it is normal that the shell will generate eddy current due to the influence of high-frequency magnetic field inside the machine, which will make the shell heat up and have static electricity.


11. Water-cooled switching power supply: connect the water source pipe in the water inlet and the water outlet pipe, and check whether the water inlet is smooth. When the machine leaves the factory, the water pressure switch has been adjusted, and when working, it cannot be lower than the adjusted water pressure.
After the above operation, if there is no abnormal phenomenon, it means that the power supply is in good condition and the connected load can work normally.
