How can I fix the oxygen gas detector's reading issue?
Under normal conditions, the gas detector will display a reading of about 20.9%VOL after it is turned on, because the oxygen content in the atmosphere is basically within the normal range of 19.2%VOL-23%VOL, so why under normal conditions, the oxygen detector occasionally Will it appear that the reading is greater than 23%VOL or lower than 19.2%VOL?
If this phenomenon occurs, it means that the instrument has been damaged and is in a state of inaccurate readings. What should I do if the detection data of the gas detector is inaccurate? Before solving this problem, we must first understand the concepts of two phenomena: under normal circumstances! So how to deal with the reading problem of oxygen gas detector?
1. The reading of the instrument is greater than 23% VOL, indicating that the instrument is drifting upwards, which is caused by long-term over-range detection;
2. The reading of the instrument is less than 19.2% VOL, indicating that the instrument is floating downwards. The most likely cause of this phenomenon is that the sensitivity of the instrument is reduced or the filter of the sensor is blocked, which causes the instrument to sense a decrease in oxygen content.
If the above two phenomena appear, first do a reset operation, the operation steps are as follows:
1) This operation can only be done when the gas detector drifts in the clean air without corresponding gas. The user only needs to take the instrument into the clean air and adjust the value to 20.9% VOL;
2) If the reading drift still exists after the adjustment, please contact the dealer or the manufacturer in time, so as to quickly detect the problem of the instrument, and "prescribe the right medicine" to solve the problem fundamentally.
