1. The voltage range of ordinary electric test pen is between 60V--500V. When it is lower than 60V, the neon tube of the electric test pen may not emit light. If it is higher than 500V, it cannot be measured with ordinary electric test pen, otherwise it is easy to cause electric shock.

2. When using, pay attention to the fingers must be in contact with the metal pen hanger (pen type) or the metal screw (screwdriver type) on the top of the test pen, so that the current is formed by the charged body under test, through the test pen, the human body and the earth. As long as the voltage between the charged body under test and the ground exceeds 60V, the neon tube will glow, and the backlight of the neon tube window should face the operator when observing.
