First of all, when we clean the various glass parts of the metallographic microscope, we should wipe it gently with gauze to remove fingerprints or oil. We should use a small amount of ethyl alcohol (70%) and alcohol (30%) mixed solution to moisten the gauze and wipe it. Do not wipe it with gauze. If any liquid splashes on the microscope, you should immediately turn the main switch to "O", unplug the power cord, and then wipe off any liquid that splashed on or under the objective lens;


Then do not use organic solvents to wipe the non-optical parts of the microscope. If you want to clean these parts, please use a lint-free soft cloth with a small amount of neutral detergent to wipe it. If the objective lens is not installed, be sure to cover the objective lens mounting screw on the nosepiece. holes to prevent dust and spilled tissue culture fluid from entering the interior of the lens;


Finally, when you are not using the metallographic microscope, please use a dust cover to cover the metallographic microscope. Before covering the metallographic microscope, be sure to wait for the lamp holder to fully cool down. Do not disassemble any part of the microscope. This will cause performance degradation or malfunction. , using equipment that can radiate ultraviolet light near a metallographic microscope may discolor the colored part (yellow) on the surface of the metallographic microscope, so avoid direct contact with the microscope.
