First of all, when we clean the various glass parts of the metallographic microscope, we should wipe it gently with gauze to remove fingerprints or oil. If any liquid splashes on the microscope, you should immediately turn the main switch to "O", unplug the power cord, and then wipe off any liquid that splashed on or under the objective lens;
Then do not use organic solvents to wipe the non-optical parts of the microscope.
