How to detect the quality of the speaker with a pointer multimeter

How to use a multimeter to check the quality of a speaker
Set the pointer multimeter to the ohm range, then set the multimeter to one ohm. Simply short-circuit the red and black probes of the pointer multimeter to zero to make the measurement accurate. There is no need for a multimeter to measure a horn. Simply set the multimeter to one ohm and place the probe on either the positive or negative pole of the horn. Touch the other pole of the horn with another probe. As long as you hear a clicking sound, it proves that the horn is good. Conversely, if there is no sound, it proves that it is bad. The above is the measurement method for judging the quality of a speaker using a pointer multimeter. To determine the quality of a speaker, use a pointer multimeter in one ohm range for the best measurement.

To detect the horn, simply use the detection resistor range. The horn is driven by a copper wire winding coil, which can be divided into 4 ohms, 8 ohms, etc. according to impedance requirements. As long as the current passes through, it is good. This is the knowledge learned 55 years ago, when I assembled a seven transistor semiconductor radio and repaired a transistor television myself. Now it's all integrated circuit chips and knowledge has been updated, but the principle of the speaker hasn't changed much.
