How to determine the accuracy of infrared thermometer and technical exchange
First of all, pay attention to the temperature measurement range of the infrared thermometer.
Many users have a problem, which is to use the instrument without knowing the temperature measurement range of the instrument, resulting in inaccurate temperature measurement or damage to the instrument. This is why infrared thermometer manufacturers will specialize in the research of special infrared thermometers for steel mills. Only by knowing the temperature measurement range can we better use the thermometer to make the measured temperature accurate.
Second, pay attention to the scope of use of infrared thermometers.
Infrared thermometers are used in many places, including food industry, refrigeration industry, industry, metal industry and so on. Before using the thermometer, be sure to find out which industry the temperature of the object to be measured belongs to, and whether the thermometer used is suitable for this industry. Only by understanding this can we choose the right one. There is a saying that goes well, there is no best one, only the right one. This point is also inevitable to pay attention to the accuracy of infrared thermometers.
Finally, the influence of the outside temperature on the infrared thermometer.
I also talked about the influence of the external environment on the infrared thermometer before, and the influence of temperature is particularly important. For example, if the same type of instrument is used in different temperature environments, the measured temperature must be different. Therefore, when determining the accuracy of the thermometer, we must pay attention to the influence of temperature on the thermometer. Minimize the impact as much as possible.
How to use the non-contact infrared thermometer
1. When using a non-contact infrared thermometer to measure temperature, point the non-contact infrared thermometer to the object to be measured and press the button. At this time, pay attention to the ratio between the distance and the size of the measurement area. The machine is equipped with a laser light for for aiming at the object to be measured.
2. Object distance ratio (D:S)
It refers to the ratio of the measurement distance to the surface area of the measured object. When the distance between the non-contact infrared thermometer and the measured object increases, the surface area of the thermometer and the measured object is required to be larger. D:S=12:1
3. Observation range
Make sure that the target to be measured is larger than the measurement area of the machine. The minimum diameter of the measured area must be more than 1.5 square centimeters.
4. Reflectivity
The emissivity of most organic materials and painted or oxidized materials is 0.95 (which has been set in this machine). Smooth or polished metal surfaces may cause inaccurate measured values. When compensating, tape or black must be covered on the surface. Paint and wait to bring it to the same temperature as the underlying material before taking a temperature measurement.
5. Press the battery switch, install the battery correctly, press the switch button to turn it on, the LCD will display the battery symbol, temperature value, and the value retention time is about 7 seconds.
6. Use
According to the size of the measured object, select the appropriate distance, aim at the measured object, press the button switch, and the LCD will display the temperature value and reading.
