How to do a good job in daily maintenance of gas detectors
Gas detector is a common instrument in our daily production. Due to the presence of a large amount of toxic and harmful gases in industrial environments, gas concentration can be quickly detected through gas detectors. However, due to the performance issues that may arise after long-term use of the instrument, maintenance and upkeep are necessary to ensure its lifespan and accuracy.
Maintenance methods for gas detectors
1. Regularly check the gas flow rate. Generally, the gas flow rate is 30/h. When the flow rate through the instrument is too high or too low, it has a significant impact on the measurement results of the gas detector.
2. After a period of use, the filter paper should be replaced regularly: when replacing the filter paper, the air pump should be stopped and the filter tank should be emptied.
3. During use, check if there is any air leakage in the air system. It is necessary to regularly inspect and maintain whether the diaphragm of the suction pump inside the instrument is damaged, whether the sealing ring of the sampling probe is damaged, whether the four way valve, condensate, and other components are damaged, etc.
4. Regularly clean the sampling probe and unblock the sampling hole pipeline.
5. During the use of a gas detector, attention should be paid to checking whether the condenser is working properly. Usually, the instrument's operating temperature is adjusted to within 3 degrees Celsius.
6. It is necessary to regularly check the measuring room for impurities and clean it in a timely manner.
Gas detectors require the use of correct operating methods in their applications, and it is also necessary to maintain them after use. Regular maintenance of the instrument can ensure that its performance and lifespan achieve the expected results. If users do not pay attention to maintaining the instrument during use, the measurement results of the instrument may deviate, leading to inaccurate measurement results and other situations.
