How to effectively maintain the acidity/pH meter
Acidity meter is a commonly used instrument and equipment, mainly used to accurately measure the pH value of liquid media. It can also measure the MV value of ion electrode potential when paired with corresponding ion selective electrodes. It is widely used in industries, agriculture, scientific research, environmental protection and other fields. This instrument is also an essential inspection equipment for QS and HACCP certification in food and drinking water plants. So, how can the acidity meter be effectively maintained?
Effective maintenance of the acidity meter should start from the following aspects:
During measurement, the lead wire of the electrode should remain stationary, otherwise it may cause measurement instability.
The power supply used by the instrument should be well grounded.
3. The instrument adopts MOS integrated circuits, so it should be ensured that the circuit iron has good grounding during maintenance.
When calibrating the instrument with buffer solution, it is necessary to ensure the reliability of the buffer solution and not mix the buffer solution incorrectly, otherwise it will lead to measurement errors.
5. The input end of the instrument must be kept dry and clean. When the instrument is not in use, insert the Q9 short-circuit plug into the socket to prevent dust and water vapor from entering.
6. The electrode converter is specifically designed for use with other electrodes, and attention should be paid to moisture and dust prevention during normal use.
