How to judge whether the gas detector equipment is easy to use
Combustible gas detector is an important alarm equipment, which can effectively avoid explosion and poisoning accidents caused by gas leakage. Since it is so important, how do we buy it? The following small series of gas detectors will give you a brief analysis on how to determine whether the gas detector equipment is easy to use.
Everyone should have a question. After buying a combustible detector, how can I judge that it is easy to use? In fact, this method is very simple. The general workshop will save the experimental gas. We only need to put some of the gas or liquid in the mineral water bottle. Screw on the cover, insert a small hole on the cover with a pointed object, and align the small hole with the probe part of the combustible gas detector, and you can see whether the reading on the gas detector panel changes.
Special attention should be paid to some flammable gases in liquid state, which volatilize relatively slowly. Therefore, in the test, it is necessary to shake the mineral water bottle to accelerate the volatilization. Another point: fixed gas detectors generally diffuse naturally, and the device will respond only when the leaked gas diffuses to the alarm device.
If you feel that this method is troublesome, you can use a lighter to test whether the gas detector can read. Method: Turn on the lighter and put out the fire, but do not let go of your hand, keep the lighter still in the state of deflation, and aim at the gas detector probe, but don't take too long, because the lighter's flammable gas concentration is high and the time is too long, It is easy to cause the gas concentration to be too high, exceeding the range of the gas detector, and for a long time, it is easy to shorten the life of the gas detector.
If you want to know whether the gas detector reading is accurate, it is a little difficult. At this time, we must know the concentration of the gas we use, and see whether the reading of the detector is consistent with the concentration value we know (the national standard allows some errors). If the consistency or the difference is small, it means that the gas detector can read correctly.
