How to maintain the gas detector sensor

The detector should be checked regularly and has a signal current of DC4mA in clean air.

Each sensor of the gas detector is highly resistant to common vapours and gases.

Remove the sensor to a clean environment and wait 10 to 30 minutes for self-cleaning. Do not expose the sensor to inorganic solvent vapours (e.g. paint mist) or organic solvents.
Do not use a cigarette butane lighter to test the response of the gas sensor; doing so will damage the sensor.
Calibrate the gas detector before use, and then calibrate the sensor periodically depending on how long it has been exposed to toxic and contaminated gases. It is recommended that calibration be carried out at least once every 6 months.

Normally, the calibration should be rechecked six months to one year after installation and use, and a test report should be issued by the testing party.
When the sensor loss of sensitivity needs to be replaced, through regular calibration will know whether the sensor failure, when the calibration value does not reach the standard gas value, to replace the sensor.

Cleaning the sensor screen: Take off the screen and clean it with a soft clean brush and clean warm water. The screen should be dry before re-covering.

Cleaning the Sensor: Remove the sensor and clean it with a soft, clean brush. Do not use water for cleaning.
