How to operate the pH meter to detect the pH value of water quality?
1. Insert the power cord into the power plug, press the power switch, and preheat for 30 minutes;
2. Adjust the selected switch knob to the pH value, adjust the temperature compensation knob, and make the knob indicator line align with the solution temperature value;
3. Remove the short-circuit socket at the measuring electrode socket;
4. Clean the electrode with distilled water, and dry it with filter paper after cleaning;
5. The composite electrode socket is inserted into the measuring electrode;
6. Calibration: Generally speaking, when the instrument is used continuously, it should be calibrated once a day;
1) Turn the slope adjustment knob clockwise (that is, adjust to 100%);
2) Insert the cleaned electrode into the pH value = 6.86 in the buffer solution;
3) Adjust the positioning and adjusting knob so that the reading of the instrument is consistent with the pH value when the temperature of the buffer solution drops (for example, when the positioning temperature of mixed phosphoric acid is 10°C, pH=6.92);
4) Insert the electrode cleaned with distilled water into the pH value=4.00 (or pH=9.18) standard solution, and adjust the slope knob so that the reading on the instrument is consistent with the pH value at the current temperature of the buffer solution;
5) Repeat the above 1~ until there is no need to adjust the two adjustment knobs of positioning or slope.
7. Measurement: insert the electrode into the sample liquid until the numbers on the display screen no longer jump;
