1. How to use

1. Take and place. When taking out the microscope from the mirror box, you must hold the mirror arm with one hand and the mirror holder with one hand to keep the mirror body upright. Do not use one hand to tilt and carry it to prevent the eyepiece from falling. To handle with care, put the mirror arm towards you, 5-10 cm away from the edge of the table. It is required that the table is balanced, the table top is clean, and avoid direct sunlight.

2. Turn on the light source. Turn on the power switch.

3. Place the slide specimen. Place the slide specimen to be microscopically examined on the moving stage, so that the material in the center is facing the center of the condenser. Then clamp the ends of the slide with spring clips to prevent the slide specimen from moving. Then, move the material to the position facing the center of the condenser by adjusting the slide mover or adjusting the moving stage.

4. Observation with low magnification objective lens. When observing the specimen with a microscope, the object image should be found first with a low magnification objective lens. Because the low magnification objective lens has a large observation range, it is easy to find the object image and locate the part that needs to be carefully observed. The method is:

1) Turn the coarse focus knob, look from the side with your eyes, and lower the lens barrel until the low-power objective lens is about 0.5 cm away from the specimen.

2) Observing from the eyepiece, slowly turn the coarse focus knob by hand, so that the lens barrel gradually rises until the object image in the field of view is clear. After that, use the fine focus knob to adjust the focal length slightly to make the object image the clearest.

3) Fine-tune the moving stage or slide mover to find the part to be observed. It should be noted that the object image in the microscope field of view is usually an inverted image, and the slide should be moved in the opposite direction when moving the slide.

5. High magnification observation. On the basis of low magnification observation, if you want to increase the magnification, you can perform high magnification observation. The method is:

1) Move the part to be observed to the center of the field of view of the low magnification lens, and the object image should be clear.

2) Rotate the nosepiece to move the high-power objective to the correct position, and then adjust the fine focus knob slightly to make the object image clear

3) Fine-tune the moving stage or slide mover to locate the part to be observed carefully.

Note: When using a high magnification objective lens, the distance between the objective lens and the specimen is very close, so the coarse focus knob cannot be moved, only the fine focus knob can be used.

6. Change the film. After observation, if you need to change to another glass slide, turn the objective lens back to low magnification, take out the glass slide, replace it with a new slide, and adjust the focus slightly to observe. It is not allowed to change the film under the high magnification objective lens to prevent damage to the lens.
