How to use a digital display pen?
Answer: To use the digital display test pen correctly, you should master the following contents:
(1) Button description:
(A key) DIRECT, direct measurement button (far away from the LCD screen), that is, when touching the line directly with the pen tip, please press this button.
(B key) INDUCTANCE, induction measurement button (closer to the LCD screen), that is, when touching the line with a pen tip, please press this button.
Note: No matter how the pen is printed, please remember that the key farther from the LCD screen is the direct measurement key; the key closer to the LCD is the sensor key.
(2) The digital voltage test pen is suitable for directly detecting AC and DC currents of 12 to 250 V and indirectly detecting the neutral line, phase lines and breakpoints of AC power. It can also measure the continuity of uncharged conductors.
(3) Direct detection:
①The last number is the measured voltage value.
② When the high-break display value has not reached 70%, the low-break value will be displayed.
③When measuring direct current, touch the other pole with your hand.
(4) Indirect detection: Press and hold the B button and bring the pen tip close to the power cord. If the power cord is charged, the high voltage symbol will be displayed on the display of the digital pen.
(5) Breakpoint detection: Press and hold the B key and move longitudinally along the wire. The point where there is no display in the display window is the breakpoint.
Classification of electricity test pens
Score according to the level of measured voltage:
1. High-voltage test pen: used for project operations of 10kv and above. It is a daily testing tool for electricians.
2. Low-voltage test pen: used for the detection of charged objects in projects with line voltages of 500V and below.
3. Weak current test pen: used for testing electronic products. The general test voltage is 6v--24v. For ease of use, the end of the electric pen often has a lead wire with a clip.
According to contact method:
1. Contact test pen: a detection tool that obtains electrical signals by contacting charged objects. It is usually shaped like a screwdriver and can be used for both testing pens and screwdrivers. It is also a pen type and displays measurement data directly on the LCD window.
2. Inductive test pen: Using inductive testing, no physical contact is required. It can check the voltage on the control line, conductor and socket or check the break position along the wire. The personal safety of inspection personnel can be guaranteed to the greatest extent.
