How to use handheld laser rangefinder in mines?
Handheld laser rangefinder, as a type of rangefinder, has unique functions and characteristics compared to ordinary rangefinders. Its application in mines mainly combines domestic theodolites to form a prism free half station instrument, which is used for measuring points, section height, and mining area in underground mining sites. Before a certain unit purchased a handheld rangefinder, the original underground measurement method was described as follows: at the end of 1998, two geological survey groups jointly measured the volume of a mining site, and the result was 55000 cubic meters for one group and 68000 cubic meters for the other group. Measure one measurement at a time, and the difference between several measurements is significant, so I dare not continue with the measurement. 2. Slow speed and low efficiency. The working environment underground cannot be compared to the surface environment. Due to poor underground conditions, low lighting, and low coefficients, the measurement speed is slow and the efficiency is low. Often, one measurement point takes several times more than the usual measurement time. Although domestic pulse handheld rangefinders can also measure distance, due to their ultrasonic ranging, people cannot see the position of the target point. In addition, the measurement range is too short and the accuracy is low, greatly limiting their range of use. In underground measurement, only one theodolite and one rangefinder need to be set up by the surveyor, and there is no need to stand at the target point. The measurement task can be completed smoothly, safely, and accurately in a short time, overcoming the disadvantages of slow speed, low efficiency, and poor accuracy in the past. Especially, the advantage of handheld laser rangefinders in underground measurement, which can see red laser points, is highly praised by the surveyor. Handheld laser rangefinders can also be used separately in underground measurements, which is quite convenient and can store a large amount of measurement data without the need for underground measurement records. Handheld laser rangefinder can not only be conveniently used underground, but also for outdoor slope measurement and layout.
