How to use the induction tester
Inductive measuring pen can measure AC power and DC power. When measuring DC battery, touch the other pole of the battery with the other hand. The range displays 12v, 24V, 36√, 110v, and 220v. When measuring the presence or absence of electricity, the voltage can be directly displayed, using the same method as the old-fashioned neon bubble probe. When measuring cable breaks, connect the suspected wire to the live wire and move the probe contact to the cable. If there is no break, the probe will display 12v. When the break point is reached, the display disappears. Move back and forth to determine the position and find the break point. This is the biggest advantage of the inductive probe over the old-fashioned neon bubble probe. However, remember to connect other wires to the neutral wire, otherwise, due to the induction effect, there will be electricity everywhere, and the break point may not be found. For high-quality new cables, it may not be possible to measure.
Inductive measuring pen is a good thing, convenient and practical. For people who are not used to using a multimeter, it is a great measuring tool.
