Human exposure to electromagnetic radiation and protection against it

The harm of electromagnetic radiation to human body and protective measures
The staff did not experience any significant discomfort in a workplace with an electric field intensity of tens of volts per meter or even if working in the 3-15m band for more than 2 hours; If the electric field intensity is 100-150 V/m, within the aforementioned wavelength and the same dwell time, it will cause insignificant reactions such as fever, weakness, and headache, but it will quickly disappear; If the electric field strength is 200-300 V/m, even if the dwell time is short (more than 1 hour), it will cause similar reactions; If the electric field intensity exceeds 4000 V/m and the dwell time is only 10-20 minutes, this reaction will be triggered and the body temperature will rapidly rise.

High frequency grounding includes grounding of the high-frequency equipment casing and shielding grounding.
The high-frequency grounding wire should not be too long, and the length should be limited to within 1/4 of the wavelength as much as possible, otherwise it should also avoid odd multiples of 1/4 of the wavelength. The purpose of doing so is to avoid generating standing waves on the grounding wire, resulting in higher voltage that may threaten personal safety and interfere with electronic devices. High frequency grounding wires should be made of multi stranded copper wires or multi-layer copper sheets to reduce self inductance and eddy current losses of the grounding wire. High frequency grounding body should be vertically buried with copper material; The area of the flat grounding body can be taken as 1.5-2m ².

The shielding grounding should be connected to the grounding body at the shielding point. If there are several points connected to the grounding body, it is likely to cause unbalanced current in the grounding circuit. This current will flow to places where it should not flow, reducing the anti-interference ability of the grounding system.

Strengthen the maintenance and upkeep of high-frequency equipment.
Regular maintenance, regular inspection of safety protection devices, correct signal and instrument indications on high-frequency equipment, timely inspection and replacement of defective equipment, and strict adherence to safety operating procedures are essential measures for protecting against electromagnetic radiation. Require monthly inspection of the grounding system and measurement of grounding resistance every six months.
