In addition to measuring electricity, do you know that the electric test pen has these functions?

(1) First of all, the test pen can be used to conduct low-voltage nuclear phase, and measure whether any wires in the line are in phase or out of phase. Its discrimination principle: the voltage difference between the two poles of the neon bulb in the test pen is proportional to its luminous intensity . The specific operation method is: the operator should stand on an object insulated from the ground, take two test pens to test on the two wires to be tested, if the two test pens glow brightly, then the two The wires are out of phase; otherwise, they are in phase.

(2) Secondly, the test pen can also be used to distinguish between alternating current and direct current. During the test, if both poles in the neon bulb of the test pen glow, it is alternating current; if only one pole glows, it is direct current.

(3) In addition, the test pen can also judge the positive and negative poles of direct current. Connect the test pen to the DC circuit, if the neon bulb glows, the pole is the negative pole, and if it does not glow, it is the positive pole. (4) In addition, the test pen has a function that can be used to judge whether the DC is grounded. In the DC system insulated to the ground, the operator can stand on the ground and touch the positive or negative pole of the DC system with a test pen. If the neon bulb does not light up, it means that there is no grounding phenomenon. If it lights up, it means there is a grounding phenomenon. If the tip of the pen glows, it means the positive is grounded; if the finger end glows, it means the negative is grounded. It should be noted, however, that this method cannot be used in DC systems with ground monitoring relays.
