Induction breakpoint test on electric pen
Inductive electric pen breakpoint test and direct test each have a button. When measuring voltage, press and hold the direct test button, and then touch the live wire with the pen tip to measure the voltage, and the voltage will be displayed on the LCD screen.
To measure a breakpoint inside a section of energized insulated wire, press and hold the breakpoint test button, then touch the tip of the pen to the insulated wire and gently slide it vertically over the wire.
If the wire is a path somewhere, the display shows a "live" symbol. If the wire is broken somewhere, nothing will be displayed on the screen.
How to test the sensor breakpoint on the electric pen
Be careful not to touch any metal parts when using the induction pen to prevent electric shock.
The test of the inductive breakpoint is the inductive measurement. It is used to sense the place where the wire is broken. Generally, the wire of the live wire needs to be tested, and then the electric pen is moved along the outer skin of the wire. The wire goes, and the breakpoint is where the sign disappears.
