Infrared thermometer cleaning and precautions

 

Maintenance of infrared thermometer
1. Always keep the infrared thermometer clean and clean it according to 5.3 when necessary. to


2. Working environment: working temperature 0℃~50℃, relative humidity 10~95%RH (no condensation).


3. Storage environment temperature: -20℃~50℃.


4. When the battery icon appears on the display, please replace the battery as soon as possible.


Infrared thermometer lens cleaning
1. Gently blow away the floating dust. If there is a lot of dust, you can slowly blow it away with compressed air.


2. Use a soft brush or special lens paper to gently wipe off the remaining particles.


3. Wet a cotton swab or lens paper in distilled water and wipe the surface of the lens, being careful not to leave scratches. For fingerprints or other grease, use the following cleaning methods:


①Kodak lens wiping agent.


②Ethanol.


③Industrial alcohol.


Wipe the edge of the infrared thermometer lens with an alcohol swab.


Wipe the infrared thermometer objective lens with lens tissue.


Infrared thermometer cleaning precautions
1. Do not use solvent to clean the lens, and do not immerse the thermometer in water. to


2. Not used for measurement of bright or polished metal surfaces (stainless steel, aluminum, etc.).


3. Steam, dust, smoke, etc. will affect the accuracy of measurement.


4. Do not place the thermometer close to or on high-temperature objects.


5. When using an external-beam thermometer, do not point the laser directly at your eyes or illuminate it indirectly from a reflective surface to avoid personal injury.
