Introduction of linear regulated power supply, switching power supply and phase-controlled power supply

1. The linear regulated power supply can meet the high and low requirements of the DC voltage required by the electronic circuit and the requirements of the power supply quality (precision, ripple, etc.), but there are two major disadvantages: one is that the adjustment tube VT works in a linear amplification state, and the loss is very large. The power supply efficiency is very low; the second is to use a power frequency transformer T, which makes the whole power supply bulky and heavy.

2. The switching power supply is to overcome the shortcomings of the linear regulated power supply. It is named because its power (power) electronic devices always work in the switching state. Shaanxi Yike Electric Power has always been choosing the best switching power supply on the market to ensure the quality of the instrument.

3. Phase-controlled power supply is the abbreviation of thyristor phase-controlled power supply. Same as the switching power supply, the power electronic devices in the phase-controlled power supply also work in the switching state, but the working frequency is the power frequency (50Hz) instead of high frequency. In contrast, a significant advantage of the phase-controlled power supply is that the circuit is simple and the control is convenient. Its main disadvantage is also to have a power frequency transformer, which makes the whole power supply bulky and heavy. In addition, the DC output voltage ripple frequency of the phase-controlled power supply is only a few times of the power frequency (2 times for single-phase full-bridge control, and 6 times for three-phase full-bridge control), so a larger filter is required for better filtering. Effect. The DC output voltage ripple frequency of the switching power supply is very high, often above 20kHz, so only a small filter is required. Due to the low switching frequency of the phase-controlled power supply, its response speed to the control is slower than that of the switching power supply.

According to the custom, the switching power supply refers to the DC power supply in which the power (power) electronic devices work in the high-frequency switching state, so it is also called the high-frequency switching power supply, and the phase-controlled power supply is not included in the switching power supply.
