Introduction to the calibration steps of infrared thermometer
In the production process, infrared temperature measurement technology plays an important role in product quality control and monitoring, equipment online fault diagnosis, safety protection, energy saving, etc. In the past 20 years, non-contact infrared thermometers have developed rapidly, with perfect performance, continuously enhanced functions, increasing varieties, and expanding application scope. Compared with contact temperature measurement methods, infrared temperature measurement has the advantages of fast response time, non-contact, safe use, and long service life. Non-contact infrared thermometers consist of three series of portable, online scanning, multiple options and computer software, each with various models and specifications. Among thermometers of various specifications, it is very important for users to choose the correct infrared thermometer.
The calibration steps of the infrared thermometer are as follows:
According to the temperature measurement range, place a metal material sample with a diameter larger than the diameter of the required infrared thermometer in the resistance furnace. The above-mentioned standard S-type precious metal thermocouple was tested, using the thermocouple as the reference temperature source. In order to ensure that the temperature of the temperature source is relatively stable, the expansion uncertainty of the reference calibration temperature source should not exceed the table.
Calibration method: Calibration environmental conditions, ambient temperature (18 ~ 25) C reference standard, and the working environment humidity of the electrical measuring device should be consistent with it.
Technical requirements are required.
Relative humidity: >85%, avoid strong background radiation and alternating magnetic fields.
Supporting facilities: The accuracy of the standard temperature source (converted into temperature) of the S-type thermocouple and its measuring point equipment should be better than 1/10 of the maximum allowable error of the infrared measuring instrument.
An insulation resistance meter with a rated voltage of 520V was calibrated.
The digital display must be clear and complete, and the buttons must be functioning properly. When the battery is low, the battery can be calibrated after replacing the battery.
Calibration result processing: Calibration data processing is based on the total radiation thermometer calibration procedures. The calibration process is recorded on the infrared thermometer calibration record sheet. After the calibration is completed, a calibration report is filled in.
The calibration interval generally does not exceed 1 year.
The above is the personal calibration procedure for infrared thermometers.
