Introduction to the operation process of electric soldering iron manual welding
1. Check before operation
(1) Check for fever
Insert the plug of the electric soldering iron into the specified socket 3-5 minutes before going to work every day, and check whether the soldering iron is hot. If it is not hot, first check whether the socket is plugged in. Do not disassemble the soldering iron at will, let alone directly touch the soldering iron tip with your hands.
(2) Update the soldering iron head in time
Oxidized bumpy or hooked tips should be replaced with:
1. Ensure good heat conduction effect;
2. To ensure the quality of the welded object.
If a new soldering iron tip is replaced, the maintenance paint should be wiped off after heating, and tin maintenance should be added immediately.
The cleaning of the soldering iron needs to be carried out before the soldering operation. When the soldering iron is not used for more than 5 minutes, the power must be turned off.
(3) Check whether the tin absorbing sponge has water and is clean
If there is no water, please add an appropriate amount of water (the appropriate amount means that water seeps out when the sponge is pressed to half its normal thickness.
Operation method: Humidity requirements After the sponge is completely wet, hold it in the palm of your hand and close your five fingers naturally.
When using a soldering iron for manual soldering, the sponge used should be cleaned. The dirty sponge contains metal particles, or the sulfur-containing sponge will damage the tip of the soldering iron.
(4) Whether the human body and the soldering iron are reliably grounded, and whether the human body wears an electrostatic ring.
Soldering iron steps
1. Preheating: The tip of the soldering iron is at a 45-degree angle, and it withstands the pads and component feet.
Pre-heat the component pins and pads. The tip of the soldering iron tip should not stand against the copper-free position of the PCB, so as not to burn the board into a trace; the soldering iron tip should follow the direction of the circuit: the soldering iron tip should not block the via hole: the preheating time is 1 to 2 seconds.
2. Tinning: Introduce the tin wire from the contact surface of the component foot and the soldering iron; when the tin wire melts, master the speed of the wire; when the tin is scattered all over the pad, remove the tin wire; the tin wire cannot directly lean against the soldering iron tip To prevent the flux from burning black; the entire tinning time is about 1 to 2 seconds.
3. Remove the tin wire: remove the tin wire, and place it on the pad; the time is about 1 to 2 seconds.
4. Remove the soldering iron: When only a slight smoke comes out of the solder, you can remove the soldering iron to solidify the solder joints.
