Introduction to the protection application of voltage stabilized power supply in laser cutting machine
The stabilizing power supply of the laser cutting machine is mainly used to observe the compensation transformer, check whether the temperature rise of the regulating transformer is normal, and whether there are any abnormal phenomena such as overheating and coil discoloration.
Check whether the contact of the carbon brush is maintained well, monitor whether the input and output voltages are normal, and whether there is any overload phenomenon.
For better maintenance, it is generally necessary to remove dust and dirt from various components of the metal laser cutting machine stabilizer every three months;
Check if the chain drive system is working properly, add oil to the sprocket, adjust the tightness of the chain, and check if the carbon brush holder is tilted or stuck. If found, adjust it accordingly.
In addition, it is necessary to check whether the electrical contacts of the metal laser cutting machine are damaged;
If necessary, it should be replaced or repaired in a timely manner:
Check whether the column type voltage regulating transformer operates flexibly, whether the carbon brush is intact, and replace the damaged or severely worn carbon brush in a timely manner;
If there are burns or carbon brush powder on the contact surface of the coil, use No. 0 fine sandpaper to polish it flat and remove dust in a timely manner.
Voltage stabilizing power protection function of laser cutting machine:
Overvoltage output exceeding 10% of rated voltage (adjustable), with a delay of 3-5 seconds to cut off the output power supply
Under voltage output lower than rated voltage by -15% (adjustable), delay 3-5 seconds to cut off output power supply
Delay by 2 seconds to cut off the output power supply
When the overcurrent exceeds the rated output current, the output power supply will be cut off after a delay of 3-5 seconds
When the load device is short circuited, cut off the output power supply
When there is an error in the reverse equivalent three-phase electrical phase sequence, the machine will sound an alarm and cut off the output power supply
When there is a shortage of three-phase power, the machine will sound an alarm and cut off the output power supply
So what should we pay attention to when using a regulated power supply?
1. Firstly, the operation involves adjusting the knob or button according to the actual required voltage and current;
If the required voltage is in the gear position, the main knob should be adjusted to the desired position, and then the fine knob should be adjusted. For example, 13V is actually required;
So the main knob should be adjusted to 15V first, and then adjusted through the auxiliary knob.
The main knob should not be adjusted to 10V, as this may result in the voltage not necessarily reaching 13V.
2. If a load is required, it should be adjusted to the desired voltage before connecting to the load.
3. When using a DC stabilized power supply and encountering the need to adjust the "coarse adjustment" mode;
The load must be disconnected first, the voltage adjusted, and then reconnected to the load.
4. When we encounter protection caused by load short circuit or overload during our reuse process;
The load should be disconnected first, and then the "restore" button should be pressed to restart the voltage;
The voltage can be restored to normal operation. Wait for the fault to be resolved before connecting the load.
