It can display readings on a LCD screen, making it very convenient. However, the convenience of using a level gauge is secondary, and the key is to be accurate. So, is a digital level gauge accurate?
In fact, the digital level is just a different display method, and its principle is the same as a regular level. The accuracy of measurement is not affected, and the specific accuracy is related to the accuracy of the digital level.
However, it should be noted that unlike a regular level, the measurement accuracy of a digital level is affected by temperature. Generally, measurements are more accurate within the range of 20-30 ℃, and temperatures that are too high or too low can affect its accuracy.
How to calibrate the digital level
The traditional handheld level is usually calibrated using a standard instrument. With the development of technology, the invention of digital level makes the calibration work of the level simpler. Simply press the "calibration button". Below, we will introduce the calibration operation method of digital level:
1. Place the level on a plane not exceeding 3 degrees (which can be compared to a spirit level) and wait for 10 seconds.
2. Press the calibration button once, and the display screen will show CAL1.
3. Rotate the digital level by 180 °, wait for 10 seconds, then press the calibration button. The display screen will display CAL2. After about 5 seconds, the LCD screen will display "Succ". The buzzer will beep three times continuously, indicating successful calibration.
4. If the LCD screen displays three dashes "---" after calibration, it indicates that the level is not parallel to the horizontal plane during rotation, and calibration is not successful. The calibration operation can be performed again.
